At Hummingbirds Hive, we nurture every aspect of your child’s development. Our holistic approach helps little learners grow their minds, bodies, hearts, and imaginations through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
We’ve created a vibrant space where curiosity blooms, friendships flourish, and every child feels safe, seen, and celebrated. Through playful learning, children build confidence and develop a lifelong love of discovery.
Our Creative Curriculum
Artistic Expression
Children explore various art mediums to express their ideas, develop fine motor skills, and build creative confidence. Our open-ended art experiences value process over product, encouraging experimentation and self-expression.
Movement & Music
Active play and musical experiences develop coordination, rhythm, listening skills, and body awareness. Children dance, sing, and move their bodies in ways that promote physical development and joyful self-expression.
Hands-On Discovery
Through sensory exploration, building activities, and natural materials, children develop scientific thinking, spatial awareness, and problem-solving abilities while satisfying their innate curiosity about how things work.
Founder Story
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.
I’ve always believed childhood should feel magical—filled with curiosity, creativity, and connection. I started Hummingbirds Hive to create a nurturing space where little ones feel safe, supported, and inspired to be their full, joyful selves.
My path didn’t begin in the classroom, but it’s been shaped by years of parenting, a deep curiosity about how children learn, and a commitment to supporting the whole child. I hold a master’s degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and am working toward certification in School Leadership. I’ve been honored to receive fellowships from Jacobs and 4.0, which support equity-driven leaders reimagining education.
